Where this began
Growing up in Ireland, I learned that stories weren’t just something we told.
They helped us make sense of uncertainty, share wisdom and understand the world around us. My own journey took me into science and technology, but I discovered the same principle applies there too.
I developed a deep passion for Enterprise Architecture – making sense of complexity, seeing how the pieces connect and turning strategy into something organisations can act on. But I also learned something important along the way: successful transformation is less about technology and more about people. People make sense of change through stories, not systems.
That’s why I created Digital Mythology® – a practical storytelling framework bringing together technology, storytelling and human understanding to help leaders navigate change with greater clarity and confidence. That same belief inspired the Digital Mythology Podcast and What’s the Story? – exploring the human stories behind technology and making complex ideas easier to understand in plain English.
The technology may be new, but the human need is ancient.
